You might be right to go “well some of those were probably tax writeoffs”, but she clearly took the words and idea of the early country stars she knew like Johnny Cash and decided “all this money and power is worthless unless I help people with it.”
I was about to say, let’s assume capitalism rather than long-reaching malice. The aristocracy has proven that largely, they’re not great at long-term thinking - so the real answer is more rationally “private equity and the demands of capitalism requiring that even everyday recreation be heavily monetized” rather than “nefarious puppetmasters are conspiring to lock humanity into a work-only lifestyle”. The former can beget the latter, but I believe that’s more a happy knock-on effect than a very pointed and intentional outcome.

Even in the US, a lot of TOS/T&Cs are unenforceable. It’s harder to get a judge to say it, but there’s case law holding a LOT of these as useless - and your point would also almost certainly come up even in a civil suit, let alone a criminal trial.
She definitely could also just be a power woman. Some people aren’t attracted to the money or the person, they just want proximity to power - sometimes to skim that power for themselves, sometimes to hide behind the protection of that power, sometimes to simply affirm a belief that they’re powerful.
Trump doesn’t need a honey pot - remember, his handlers have to constantly keep reminding him of “hey that’s a national secret you can’t talk about that” or “maybe don’t shout about it in front of an audience of thousands”. Why bother with espionage, when you can simply rock up with a briefcase of cash and say “hey I want detailed plans of all your military bases in X region, here’s several million dollars.”
