201·7 days agoDefinitely not a big fan of it, but realistically speaking, it’s here to stay. It is wise for them to govern and regulate it rather than outright ban it. Especially with a project as big as this one, people will try. Saying that the responsibility falls on the human is definitely the right move.
You’d be surprised at how many times this would help. Sometimes data could be in garbage state and would change between execution.

some programs that require intensive computation would have compiled code for performance reason. scipy and numpy comes to mind. i also remember needing to compile stuff during a pip install for postgresql integration library.
