“Remember when America was only scary on Halloween?” said the white man.
Yeah… it’s always been pretty scary.
As a white eurobean woman i was like always too scared to go because of the loose gun laws and the predatory healthcare system
I had the chance to go and get most of my expenses covered but for above reasons i didnt join (they had a nice trip)I would have said, the ignorant (big overlap there)
Because as a white man, nope, I already didn’t want to go to the usa when I was 12yo and I don’t want the us to come to me for a long while now too.
Respectfully, no. America has always been a terror-state for anyone who is not a cishet white christian man. Women are constantly subjugated even in progressive states. Minorities are always systematically oppresssed through dehumanization tactics, financial destitution, addiction campaigns funded directly by the CIA, and the fear of overwhelming violence backed by the state if they start gaining power and/or wealth.
Respectfully, agreed.
And that is not even mentioning the constant terror (direct or indirect) in random third-world countries around the world (not just on Halloween).
I remember when I was too ignorant of things to be scared of…
Uh, no. America was always scary.
Hm maybe 1585?
