Whether it’s a local or a cloud-based model, if you want to use AI, we think you should have the freedom to use (or not use) the tools that best suit your needs.
Ok it doesnt say it directly but you can see where i got it from

From the post it seems like theyll ad support for self-hosted models before the feature leaves beta
“Our initial offering”
They said in the article theyll also offer the use of self-hosted models later
Shes not the new ceo, shes a temporary interim ceo while they find someone better
why would you need to switch, did you read the article?
what? Its opt-in
Are you stupid? This isnt how you convince people youre right, how do you know you arent just consuming fringe misinformation. And also, the burden of proof is on the one who makes the claim, im going to assume you dont have a source
First of all, source?
Second of all, wouldnt alphabet (googles parent company) back trump since he would lower their taxes and oppose législation that would cause them money?
Alright, why do you think that google would remove dislikes becausr of biden
To clarify for those that might not understand that explanation, RISC is just a type of instruction set, x86 is CISC, but arm and RISC-V are RISC
I like how apple seems to understand where ai is useful and doesnt shove it everywhere, its also opt-in.
I dont like apple but their ai implementation is quite nice
It does work great throigj wine apparently
You can edit system files with layering, but it’s not as straightforward
The basic of immutable desktops is that every system file (what’s outside your home directory (folder) ) is readonly, you can install apps through the app store.
But I’d say Linux mint (a Non-immutable) distro is what you should try first, because it’s more user-friendly and easier to get help for.
yeah actually
Wait it did? When?
Oh yeah, then if you like the look of it, Linux mint is the best option
The distro recommendation is usually mint, but I’d like to know, what does your setup look like? (Monitor specs, PC specs etc)
Nooon? Vraiment? Je suis le premier surpris.
