I’ve shot but only used a few rifles. How does this design work with the sights? Do I look through the magazine? Do I just guess where the target is?
The magazine is off center
It looks like the Madsen (the top Danish MG) offsets the magazine. The Bren (pictured below) and some others like the ZB26 (the bottom Czech MG) offset the sights.
I believe the magazine is slightly off-center, allowing normal iron sights to be used.
