- Heroic civil servants are underappreciated these days. - There’s a very good opinion news article I remember reading about somebody working in the government who investigated room and pillar mining disasters and worked out some benchmarks to determine whether a mine was safe and ended up saving lives. I was about to share it here, but I can’t seem to find it again.
