Anna Liedtke, a 25-year-old German journalist and activist with the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, has publicly revealed that she experienced sexual assault while held by ‘Israeli’ forces.
Liedtke, who was aboard the vessel Conscience attempting to break the naval blockade of Gaza, said she was raped during a transfer between ‘Israeli’ prisons.
The journalist described her detention as lasting five days following the interception of the ship. She stated that the assault occurred while being transferred from Ktzi’ot to Givon prison during routine strip searches.
