Just think. if Adam hadn’t listened to his wife we wouldn’t be in this mess. But she WAS naked, I can never ignore my wife when she’s naked.

Yeah, I don’t really want my downfall brought about, but if were to happen, the lack of bras would be a nice silver lining. I don’t really have an opinion on the fruit eating.

Imagine if Eve hadn’t eaten that fruit, and we’d all still be mindless morons living lives of servitude. Actually, that doesn’t sound too different from what we have now, but at least we’ve got manga and anime.

The wild part of the whole story is that it is a setup, by God.

Adam and Eve literally do not know right from wrong.

The serpent (who is NOT Satan/The devil) also doesn’t lie to Eve at all.

      Everything he says is true.

And the serpent is also a direct creation of God.

Adam and Eve have no concept of deception, no concept of conflicting information, no ability to think critically.

Because God made them that way.

And God also knows everything that will ever happen.

God blames Eve and Adam (and the serpent) for doing things he 100% knew they would do if he put them in that situation.

He played them. He tricked them, and then gaslit them into beleiving what happened was their fault.

      There’s no escaping this.

There’s no apologetics that can avoid this, unless you wanna try to square ‘well God doesn’t actually know everything’ with all of the rest of scripture that says he does.

It doesn’t matter if free will technically exists or doesn’t, God still did an entrapment that he knew would work, would play out as it did, making him a sociopathic manipulator.

And he could have done literally anything else.
