    Hopefully this turns more NIMBY homeowners into YIMBYs that support more housing supply? Your house valuation going through the roof isn’t a good thing if you can’t afford the taxes and insurance or a new house if you were to sell your appreciated “asset”.

    I really hate how housing can be treated as an investment.
