Just to clarify: The vast majority of people who talk about the whole “work hard and you’ll become rich” thing, are knowingly lying. They don’t actually believe that, they’re just narcissists who say it because they want everyone else to do all the work. So they lie and make up things like it making you rich, or it being part of the bible or even human nature to “have” to work.
Unless you’re an ultra wealthy white man, the party hates you.
Money covers a lot of sins. They’ll happily take advantage of your wealth so long as you’re willing to give it to them.
