These are abundant and cheap in the thrift stores. I’m experimenting with decoupage - drowning them in paint, perhaps coating these coasters with a layer of epoxy, collage on canvas.

Fair enough I mean I’m Australian, but yeah I do tend to forget about regional spelling. Still though I love the art form.

Out of curiosity, is this series a thing in Australia? Always been curious if this cancer is unique to the US.

Personally I’ve never seen or heard of it outside of the internet. But I wouldn’t put it past our ‘red’ state, Queensland, to be rife with it. But series? I thought it was just some revelationary bible bullshit? Is it an actual legit book series?

It’s an entire multimedia franchise. Twelve books in the main series, a spin off “kids” series, a movie series and a reboot of that movie series (with Nick Cage), even a video game.

They even released a video that has instructions for those “left behind” in the event of the rapture (I have a copy I thrifted for my Christian kitsch collection). Was ridiculously popular in the southern US through the early to mid oughts.
