People who never compromise with their method of transportation demand others compromise! How unexpected!

For real. Compromise with my demand to not be exposed to life-threatening heavy machinery and air pollution without my consent. A middle option between that position and what the carbrains want is extremely difficult from our current reality.

Bike lanes are car infrastructure. The consequence of refusing to build them isn’t that cyclists go away; it’s that they’re forced to use the general-purpose lane instead and car drivers have to wait behind them.

Yes! Bike lanes are car infrastructure. Anything that is creates to stop a car/driver from driving their car on to, or in to it, is car infrastructure.

Sidewalks for example were created to prevent cars for driving up or in the area. Crosswalks were created to standardize crossing zones where cars might expect pedestrians.

Prior to this city streets were for people, not their vehicles.

I don’t see why they can’t keep the loading zones but not allow them to block the bike lanes. They can simply block the car lanes and everyone will be happy im sure.
