Whenever I subscribe to a small but very active community, for example [email protected], my Scaled sort feed gets flooded almost entirely by posts from that one community. I thought Scaled sort was supposed to highlight outliers across all communities to prevent a single instance from dominating the feed. Is this a bug or just how it’s supposed to work?

Piefed has feeds, which allows to organize subscriptions and avoid that kind of issues
This is a known issue and will be fixed in Lemmy 1.0: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/5210
It’s just a scaler on the points, it doesn’t have any balancing methods in it. Few users means big multiplier on the scores.
Usually few users means few posts.
