What do you think of an option to ban politics from the feed on account registration like this:
Effectively, when you click “no politics”, it should block the [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] communities and such for the newly registered user.
It would help clear up the feed and be more attractive to new users. Maybe this could even be the default view when you’re not logged in.
Where wood you draw the line determining what is political and what isn’t?
that is indeed a good question. maybe if the community self-identifies as political? or maybe a majority vote? Or maybe it depends on the instance that you’re using? (something that the server admin can configure)
