I’m not talking about cutting DoD spending to increase funding for USAID type of reallocation. More in the using said “savings” to line him and his buddies pockets type way. Or using it fund all this BS with ICE. Or whatever other stupid idea he has. I was just trying to be generic rather than specific cause it’s not just one shitty thing it’d be used for, it’s multiple.

And which portion of what I said is suggesting that? Cause everything I said was critizing it.

The only part that wasn’t directly doing so is saying looking at the debt to determine their efficacy is terrible. It’s like looking at a company’s income to see if revenue changed. At best it’s an indirect indicator.

That’s not what I said and if that’s what people think they’re even dumber than I thought.

All I’m saying is that using the debt going up to argue that DOGE has done nothing, is terrible.

Look, I’m no fan of DOGE, but the debt going up doesn’t mean it couldn’t have been worse if they did nothing.

It seems to me the only point of DOGE was so that Trump could direct the savings elsewhere. Not to actually save money. And based on what I know, they’ve done a poor job of that. So much so, I wonder if they’ve saved anything after all the lawsuits and re-hirings they’ve had to do.
