You need access to explosives for this. The attempts to mount guns on drones have not been successful to my knowledge. The “Dragon” flamethrower drone has shown some success, but that’s more about flushing people out of treelines etc so explosive dropping drones, kamikaze drones, or traditional munitions become more effective.
In short, yeah one would at least need access to grenades or other explosives.
