    The solution is to just have two sets of sheets.

    Pull the old set off and throw it on the floor, put the new set on, then let the old set sit there for a few weeks while you keep stepping over the pile.

      Or marry someone who’s probably autistic, because I’ll get the sheets and make sure they’re washed and folded and put back into the closet and have a system that rotates them out on a regular schedule.

        Nope. Autistic here. I’ve always kept two sets of bed linen (doesn’t everyone?) and after I’ve stripped the old one and shoved it in the laundry pile, the new sheets will often just sit on my chair for a few hours, while I get distracted with other things.

        Let’s not try to portray developmental disorders as a superpower. My SO is autistic, and I (being ADHD) am solely responsible for ensuring shit like this gets done.
