I sort of saw one once, but it was so tucked away in the top far corner of its enclosure all I saw was those little eyes in the shadows. I’m determined to get a better look some day!
Beautiful bird. I love the clarity of this shot.
Recent studies have shown it’s impossible to frown while looking at a Saw Whet! 🥰
