Sure, but nearly all of the furry art I’ve seen has been porn. I get that there are lifestyles and activities that are not porn-related. Either way if you’re into it, you do your thing. I’m probably not going to be commenting on their creativity because I find the whole thing a little creepy, but I also wouldn’t limit someone’s ability to live that way.

That’s a you problem, the majority of furry art is not porn, and it’s trivially easy on pretty much every site online where furry art is compiled, to filter out explicit material.

When they asked them what they thought was gross you answered, so I would assume you share that opinion. Do you not?

Every fandom has that NSFW side and it’s not specific to furries. There’s plenty of SFW furry art like the animation memes you see on youtube and websites like artfight. If you don’t want to see the NSFW stuff then just avoid going on those sites or communities; it’s really not that hard.

Yeah, that’s why I blocked them. I don’t visit them and insult them. There was a discussion of what about this one was gross, which I didn’t start. I answered. There’s lots of gross stuff across communities and I block those, too. I don’t begrudge people their interests or kinks. I do find some of them gross. I think that’s fine, as I’m usually not engaged with those communities.

No… I said the gross part, for me, when it comes to furries is the related art because so much of what I’ve seen is the porn. Are you just looking for a reason to be mad at me? If you’ve read my comments in this post, I specifically have stated the art is the gross part, specifically here on Lemmy where the vast majority of it has been the porn. I have also said I have no problem with furries in general. I don’t even have a problem with their art, really–I just think the porn is gross, and I block it so that we can all keep on keepin’ on. I’m not trying to stop furries from existing or creating art (including the porn). Like anything I don’t want to see, I just don’t want to be forced to see it. My Lemmy app sufficiently allows me to filter out the stuff I don’t want to see. Problem solved.

This post isn’t about porn though, why’d you bring it up? It’s a totally unrelated thing.

Edit: It’s like looking at someone in a leather jacket and saying “I find that disgusting because leather fetishists disgust me.”
