I appreciate that ProtonVPN offers ipv6 support for their linux client, however my home internet (Tmobile) doesn’t work at all when ipv6 is turned on

So I have to turn it off via settings:

IPv6 Tunnels IPv6 traffic through the VPN. Can enhance compatibility with IPv6 networks.

My question is, does turning it off post any privacy risk, e.g. IPv6 leak? or compatibility issues in general?

Thanks!

T-Mobile only has IPv6 support actually and does not have IPv4. Could be running into other issues as I don’t believe disabling IPv6 will resolve your issue.

Sorry, I couldn’t read the poster’s mind that they are outside of the U.S. 😅 Next time I try to assist someone I’ll make sure to work on that skill a bit harder. I’m glad you were able to help them solve their issue. 🙂
