      Thankfully and unthankfully most people can prove where they were do to lack of privacy laws. If you weren’t at work/school, there is likely a record of where you were from your phone, search history, so many cameras and such.

        Unthankfully, proof only works when the ones holding the evidence care about fairness and justice.

          True, that’s why due process is so important. A non guilty person can convince a jury member that there is reasonable doubt by showing their location 150miles away at work.

      Must’ve been one hell of an emotional roller coaster when they got the news. Wonder if they’ve got one of those watches with a heart rate monitor that captured the moment, might make for an interesting piece of wall art with a good backstory.
