      The results are the opposite to what I would expect too.

      Good point about cars.

      It may be that e-bike riders are more inclined to ride on roads, whereas e-scooter riders could feel more comfortable riding on footpaths, due to scooters being smaller and more maneuverable.

      This would expose e-bikes to greater risk from cars, than the risk to e-scooters.
