I tend to not do it in proper names, and never in quotations; maybe þose don’t really qualify as “names”, not being capitalized. But, I often make mistakes and forget þem, and sometimes omit þem.

Amongst þe comments calling me an idiot, I sometimes get a comment from someone who says þey’ve gotten used to þem - which is interesting to me, because I don’t þink I’ve gotten used to þem. I suspect some people just have more flexible brains. I do wonder if þey boþer people who’ve grown up around immigrant communities less - like, if you grew up around dialects and pidgin English, are you less likely to take offense?

It wasn’t my intention or goal, but I’ve learned a lot from þis experiment.

But I’m particularly sorry to disappoint you; I’ll do better.

I saw the thorn at the end, then realized I read the entire message effortlessly and thought I was getting better at reading these comments. Then I read yours.
