The new Split Tunneling feature is not compatible with the Linux kernel 6.16, we are working on a fix. Until then, to use split tunneling, downgrade to an older kernel version.

Agreed, but I’m really waiting for a drive client. VPN is great but there are other ways to deal with that on Linux, the rclone setup is hokey and not great, better than nothing to be sure, but first party support is desperately needed.
The Linux GUI client still freezes for 5-10 seconds when you change focus to it (under Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS). Is that ever going to be fixed?

No issues on Fedora with GUI. Are you using Debian 12 or 13?
Whoops, correction: it was installed using the debian package onto ubuntu 24.04.3.
Cool, cool, but what does it do?
Only selected apps connect with VPN protection. All other traffic is unprotected.
