Either he was buying votes via an Illegal Lottery…

    OR

He was rigging a lottery that was NOT an attempt to buy votes.

Each of those things is illegal and he has to have done at least one of them.

For the record he realistically did both buying votes and rigging his lottery.

BUT let’s not pretend he will face consequences.

Billionaires following the law of the land is un American /s

The petition was ostentatiously for “free speech and the right to bear arms” created by elon musk. If you signed this petition (which collects a lot of data for the republican party) and also registered to vote you could enter a lottery to win a million bucks. If said lottery was purely chance then that’s against election laws. Elon thus argues that he rigged it intentionally, to quote the article they were " not chosen at random but based on their “suitability” to serve as PAC spokespeople." This latest lawsuit is from petition signing who thought they were entering a true lottery and were thus (allegedly) fraudulently mislead.

Signing the original petition definitely helped trump and the republican party.

Three proposed class-action lawsuits have been filed against billionaire Elon Musk alleging that his political action committee, America PAC, engaged in fraudulent practices. The lawsuits claim the PAC misled voters by promising a random $1 million cash prize, even though the winners were allegedly predetermined.

I think I just need a break from all these headlines honestly. Theres not a petition against him like my spinning brain read. The dumbasses who signed up for the million are suing him.
