I remember the time when I was walking within the parking lot at my office and I saw a little canary like bird standing in one of the guard rails. It was looking at me as I slowly approached and it started tweeting instead of retreating. I moved one of my hands slowly towards it, very slowly to avoid startling it and I managed to rub the feathers of its chest for at least five seconds before it flew away. It was quite surreal. I’ve never pet a bird that wasn’t in a cage before like that
