I’d vote for a golden retriever over any Republican, but we should aim higher until the candidate is picked.

She’s perfectly likeable, but if she were to be a president similar to her husband, I’d expect a successor similar to Trump.

well she is black so…yeah. that was the unforgivable sin for the right. Then also a woman. oh my. seriously though I get what you mean with obama but I still count him as second place for actual sitting presidents that I have experienced. So carter forward.

I don’t think it’s even just racism or sexism, though those are definitely a factor. We’ve got major issues with how our laws and economy are structured that Obama didn’t make much of an effort to address. People recognized that their lives are trending toward being shittier, so they rejected more of the same in politics. Democrats successfully got Bernie out of the race, so voters turned the other way toward Trump. In all the polling I know of, Bernie beat Trump in a landslide.

Well that last part was after but basically my order of presidents for my life is biden - obama - carter - clinton -bush snr - reagan - bush jr -trump. Granted its a tough call on both the high end and the low end. Especially since the further back in the past the more a bad decision can reek havoc. My big problem with obama is not reasserting individual liberty by getting rid of the 9/11 legislation losses and going after Aaron Swartz. Much of it was to much trying to work with republicans and trying to win over their supporters by being “tough”. Clinton honestly I think got off easy relative to other democrats because of the time period he got and even though he had a lot of bs resistance I don’t think it compares to the others terms. Carter really got screwed with the embargo situation and reagans manipulations.

Can we not jump on the same dynastic thinking as the Republicans, please?

Also why do people keep mentioning her when she’s spent the last decade saying she would never want it?
