Japan’s governing party leader, Sanae Takaichi, is on track to become the country’s first female prime minister, after finding a badly needed replacement for a crucial partner that left her Liberal Democratic Party’s coalition.
I say let’s have a system whereby if the ruler(s) do a good job according to the wide public, they are rewarded accordingly with taxes. If they do a shit job, they are rewarded with nothing. This way, we get politicians working for us rather than for themselves. I mean it would be also for themselves, but any net gain for them would be forced out of altruism. This way, you would aspire to be a hero if you could manage. And if you weren’t fit to rule, you’d resign very quickly because it would be a waste of your time to gain nothing.
Any holes to poke through this? 👂🔥 All ears! Let’s build a better system!
I guess one hole I could poke myself is it the wide public wanted anarchy and war and garbage like that. But we’d have to establish some ground rules to begin with, like the stuff that protects humans and human rights. Those cannot be taken away. Damn. I had a sleep and this became harder than I thought.
