A police officer has been suspended from duty after videos circulated online showing him transporting a refrigerator in the open trunk of the patrol car he was driving in the Kamareto district of Athens.
There is very little information stated here, but at first glance this feels a bit wild. I have so many questions. Why was he transporting a fridge in a police issued vehicle? Where was he going. Side the fridge have its id on it? Was anyone endangered by this act? If not, was a suspension necessary?
I can’t be sure of the reason but I know that the police in Greece has had a lot of public criticism lately. Greece has been plagued by corruption for ages and is known for state workers exploiting their position. For example there has been focus on police transporting celebrities.
I just think that the population is tired of police (and other state authorities) not doing their job

That makes much more sense when given a little context, I wonder if maybe there was other reasons but this was the final straw sorta suspension.
Or maybe just a quick way to brush the case under the rug…
