I went to my favorite public spot to photograph birds and it was almost entirely black-capped chickadees today. I did spot a red-winged black bird and a blue jay, but they didn’t stick around to model.

These are exactly why I subscribe. So beautiful. Thank you for posting them. Incidentally, the backgrounds are magnificent, especially on #s 1, 3, and 5: the hints of various colors behind the pink give them so much life.
