Tell me what specifically isn’t true or fuck off. It is relevant because we’re still fighting over healthcare today and he should have fought for single payer, but Dems are just as corporately owned as Repubs.
The democrats (including the independents who caucused with them) had a 58% vote share in the senate and 58.8% in the house of representatives in the 111th congress. A supermajority requires two thirds, i.e. 67%.
A supermajority in the Senate is 60 votes which can use cloture to shut down a filibuster. Obama didn’t have one for long, but he squandered it. And yes, he had one.

I stand corrected. But still, that would include 100% of democrats and independents voting in unison, which seems unlikely (think Sinema, Fetterman, Manchin).
