As someone who lives near Portland, the fact that Portland police even testified about excessive force means it’s bad.

Seriously, the whole reason the right is obsessed with Portland now is that the Portland police used incredible levels of excessive force to put down BLM protests. And since they believe the police are always in the right, then Portland must be a hellhole. I used to live in one of the smaller towns in Oregon and mentioning that I went up to Portland for a day would typically result in someone telling me I was lucky I wasn’t shot. Never mind that the PPB is so brutal that the federal government sued them for excessive force back in 2012. To unfortunately minimal effect. That you can be too brutal for Portland police is just insane.

I mean, they clearly just tackle a guy from behind out of nowhere. A guy who’s minding his own businesses and just standing there in the least threatening manner possible.

Also very revealing that they specifically target the guy wearing hippie-looking clothes, most likely because they associate that with left wing ideology and their remit is to remove “undesirables” regardless of whether or not they’re a threat to anyone.

So yeah, this is so blatant that it’s frankly not surprising that even the fascist PPD consider it beyond the pale/giving away the game.

They’d lose their minds at Becky’s Drive-in. During the labor day movie marathon, they sell tie-dyed t-shirts. Tons of people are wearing them. They wouldn’t be able to figure out whose rights to violate first.

I’m kidding of course. They’d be outnumbered, so they’d just run away.

I’m curious to know what he’s holding, and tried to retrieve. Looks a bit like a speaker or something. I wonder if that played a part in this. I’m not saying it’s justified in anyway, just curious to know what it is.

The fact that Chicago is resisting when they have their own police black sites should tell you how fucking horrific these guys are planning to get

edit: The art is to be resolute without weapons, strategic, smart, large-scale and unpredictable. A national strike would work better yeah but is tricky ig lots of americans need their salary too idk

Because retribution. Because escalation. Because they have more and bigger guns. Because violence begets violence. Because losing the battle means you get tortured to death. Because conspiracies get infiltrated. Because they still have the support of a third of Americans. Because gunfights in the streets have collateral damage. Because gunshot injuries hurt. Because they come back next time with tanks. Because we have to go to work. Because a civil war will kill millions. Because cameras will ID you and they will come for your family.

            Yes. Immediately.

But I don’t make the decision for everyone. Their reasons for resistance to civil war are listed above. And doing it solo is suicide with extra steps. Society as a whole has to get there together. And a third of Americans support the Nazis. And the propaganda apparatus is in full force keeping many others misinformed.
