I responded with pretty much the same thing, but you added an important element - the Dems really didn’t seem to mind their loss nearly as much as the citizens did, and I came to the same conclusions. Dems or MAGAs, they’re ALL getting paid by the same Sociopathic Oligarchs to offer as little resistance as possible. It’s all theater.
This country will never improve until money is removed from politics. Campaign Finance Reform is the one issue from which ALL issues flow, but both parties benefit by the current corrupt system, so they refuse to address the obvious elephant in the room.
It’s why I have been an Unaffiliated Independent since I first registered to vote in 1977. Both parties are terrible, and I don’t want to be in a position to defend or support either one.
