    Garbology is also used as an overtechnical term for waste management, with refuse workers called garbologists, first seen in Australia in the 1960s.

      In Australia, scientists who study trash are presumably called garbonomists instead.

    But on a more serious note. I was surprised to not find any Asian country cities mentioned. In particular, Tokyo.
