I’m born in Silesia which now is part of Poland but before WWII was German.
Anyway, we make some specific potato dumplings there. I moved from there in 1989, and I probably had them since there somewhere. But today was the first time I made them myself.

Indeed, it’s pretty smart tho. The hole here is to hold the sauce when they are doused with it
