Right, so I just wanted to make the point that the alien films with Sigourney Weaver are kinda same flavour as the Riddick films with Vin Diesel, and that the Sigoureny movies are better. Prove me wrong! Or come up with something better than either :)
Bit of a different flavor between the two. Aliens movies are horror. Riddick is action with some scary scenes. You never think “oh, Riddick is about to die”, it’s established that he’s gotten out of bad shit on the regular and this is just another Tuesday. And honestly, half of Riddick 1 and 3 are with him playing the role of the alien.
Now, an Aliens v Riddick crossover sounds badass. He once again gets stuck on a planet with things that want to kill him, survives (as he does), and gets somebody (Ripley) to pick him up for one reason or another. At some point, they tag team some aliens. Wouldn’t be a cinematic masterpiece, but entertaining at least.

Pitch Black is not really “Riddick”, though. It is very different to the later films and much more horror.
Screw your Ripley-Riddick movie. Let Ripley stay dead. Oh, who I am kidding? I’d totally go see your movie in the theater. At least twice. :D
Now, if there were a Riddick-Xeno crossover with Mae, Zula Hendricks, and The Jackals, I’d be all over that (too).

Aliens is more similar to Pitch Black, but it’s a fair comparison, and, yeah, Aliens is the better movie.
Part of it is the cast/writing. Can you name any other character in Pitch Black besides Riddick? LOL.

You mean like Jack (both actresses), the Imam (Keith David!), Radha Mitchell, and Claudia Black? I’m generally bad at character names, but can recall the actors.
True, that. But aside from Jack and the imam, most of the characters were a bit one dimensional. Though TBF they weren’t all supposed to last long. Box Boy (in the second one IIRC) was a pretty good character, as was Dahl. Dame Vasco in the third movie was pretty well written too.
