Some instance admins respond to report abuse and intentional troll brigading differently than Reddit would have. You can probably surmise what a ‘blahaj’ instance has to deal with.
Ultimately there being many instances and platforms for people to migrate to over, even on a whim is, in fact, a good thing. That sense of mobility and independence is valuable to the Fediverse.

Reddit totally ignores report abuse, which is crazy. At least we can see who is trolling via reports and ban their accounts here.
