I think you have a very optimistic view of the US if you think the people that don’t care if one group of non-white citizens are deported is suddenly going to be shocked and appalled when a different group of non-white citizens is on the chopping block.
I sincerely hope that it never comes to that, but thinking that your deportation is going to be the straw to break the camels back is a little arrogant.
I mean I’ve been avoiding going outside, that’s my way to reduce risk.
It’s because of this very political issue that I feel so anxious and even more depressed, which is why it’s hard to make plans.
What am I supposed to do?
Its like nuclear war, shit can go down at anything. It’s outside of my control.
Canada won’t take me. EU won’t take me
I hate PRC.
Moving isn’t so simple, I don’t have the advantage of being young when I learned English, I’d stuggle a lot. Moving take a lot of effort, something I’d struggle to do with depression.
I think you are overestimating the amount of things someone can actually do.
You realized during the Wong Kim Ark era, my people faced worse? They still have the guts to continue living. I mean… am I supposed to run every time there’s a problem? It’s not like there is anywhere to run to.
(cant think clearly right now, sorry if I’m rambling)

People also said that Roe v Wade would be a red line that’d lead to mass protest.
I wouldn’t bet on it.
I mean, there were mass protests, they just didn’t do shit.
Considering the categories of people that have already been deported in the last year, I think you’re not taking the threat seriously enough.
