Hi, ive spent the last day or 2 trying to get this game to work, which for most people runs out of the box. But in my case seems to be a sisyphean task. The problem im experiencing is massive frame times whilst the game is running. Ive tried most fixes ive seen online such as connecting a controller through wire, disabling nvidia reflex , disabling igpu, and finally forcing tsc as clocksource. AND YET the issue still persists. Its clearly not a nvidia driver issue since whilst in this frame lagged state it uses only 5% of dgpu resources. And i also very distinctly remember running this game on the same system a year ago, so its not impossible. I am very close to installing a ext4 driver on windows just so i can play this dammed thing but eww windows. Can someone of you very handsome people lend a hand? System specs: distro: endavour os session type: wayland CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 4800h with radeon graphics IGPU: AMD ATI RADEON VEGA DGPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660 TI DGPU drivers: latest (580.105.08)

It couldn’t be running on the igpu, could it? No, you tried entirely disabling it. Did you somehow verify that it was disabled?

What are you using to monitor system resource usage while troubleshooting? Using both mangohud and nvtop would be good.

How long have you run the game for? It’s unlikely to be this, but with some games I find you have to wait a second for the shader compilation to catch up and framerates to stabilize.

Also, the latest nvidia driver should be 590, not 580, and the 1660 should be new anough not to require staying on 580.
