Fun, but the original line is perfect.
Storm doesn’t make to quip like Spider-Man, she’s here to protect her family and to fry anyone who threatens them…
The point of the original line is that Toad is just another in a long line of idiots who underestimated Storm - and not even worth a unique punchline.

The problem was the delivery. It was meant to be a Nelson’s “ha, ha” moment.
