Just so everyone is aware what “Bharat Reform” actually means:
It’s a far right extremist pro-Modi movement in India, which is the same the other communities OP moderates, just slightly less blatant to ease people into the hate.
Hindutva, right-wing ethno-nationalist political ideology that defines the cultural identity of India in terms of Hinduism and desires to make India an overtly Hindu nation-state. The term Hindutva was first defined in the early 1920s by Indian nationalist activist and politician Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Today it is most closely associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (Hindi/English: Indian People’s Party; BJP), one of the main political parties in India, and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (Hindi: National Volunteer Organization; RSS), a nonpolitical Hindu nationalist paramilitary organization. Hindutva supporters, or Hindutvavadis, claim to advocate for India’s significant Hindu-majority population—as of 2011 India was 79.8 percent Hindu, 14.2 percent Muslim, and the rest a mix of Christians, Sikhs, and others—and seek to redefine the idea of secularism enshrined in the Indian constitution in terms of Hindu rights.
Hindutva as an ideology must be understood as distinct from Hinduism as a religion—not all adherents of Hinduism subscribe to Hindutva—and Savarkar’s original definition asserts Hindutva as an ethnic category and eschews a specific religious connotation. In current practice the ideology tends to be strongly pro-Hindu and staunchly anti-Muslim. However, supporters often define Hindutva in purely cultural terms as a “way of life.”

Yes, I may have my own political view like you have but unlike you I know tolerance, I accept and condemn the mistakes committed by all even if done by the Party I feel closer to and I will happily praise the other party if they something good. It is not about party, it is about work. If you try to find just like the type of screen zombie you appear to be, I have criticised the current party and goverenment as well on things I find are wrong. Secondly, lets talk about the defnition of Hindu. Hindu as coined means all the people who live on the south of Indus River (Sindhu river as indigenously called, persians and greek found it difficult to pronounce ‘S’, so they replaced it with H, Hindu River) and in the north of Indian Ocean are called Hindus. It was purely a used for people of any religion. It was a cultural and geographical term, not religious one. The term you seem to be talking about is Sanatan, which is the true religous term. The Hindutva Ideology advocates for recognising the common culture we have, no matter religion. That is why your so called RSS has Muslim Rashtriya Manch for muslims and even platforms for Christians and Sikhs. Secularism is in our soul, you don’t have to preach about it. Many European countries with a stigma of natually being ‘Secular’ in their constitution call themselves ‘Christian’. I am not at all advocating for a party of ideology but just explaining my side. The motive of this community is India Centric, not anything else.
Yes, I can have my political preferences and it is my right, but I am not blocking you from having yours, so you should not target me for mine. I have many friends who don’t agree with me, not just on Lemmy but also on real life, but we are still friends, because in the end we have the same goal, That is Development.

I understand wanting to put crippling sanctions on to slow Russia’s economy more to end the war, but the US is an import economy and this would absolutely cripple so many industries if they keep playing hot potato with tariff amounts. We are only seeing the beginning effects of the first bout of tariffs.

He wants them to buy “his” oil. But Venezuela has all that oil because it’s heavy crude that needs specialized processing. That means Russian oil is way cheaper. Now it’s not.
