I understand wanting to put crippling sanctions on to slow Russia’s economy more to end the war, but the US is an import economy and this would absolutely cripple so many industries if they keep playing hot potato with tariff amounts. We are only seeing the beginning effects of the first bout of tariffs.

He wants them to buy “his” oil. But Venezuela has all that oil because it’s heavy crude that needs specialized processing. That means Russian oil is way cheaper. Now it’s not.
He’s not thinking streets ahead, he can only handle one step at a time.
Yeah that’s how much your brain can process. Still you are right about one thing, he is not as much of a long term planner as many people are trying to show him.
