    But rifles would typically be what are used for this kind of work, planned raids. Pistols are for when you really don’t think you’ll need a gun. They’re vastly inferior, but much easier to carry.

    These men are very poorly trained. They should not be holding their rifles pointed upward. It’s a more comfortable position that feels natural, but it’s very easy for an opponent to block the rifle so that it cannot be lowered into a firing position. Training tells you to keep the rifle pointed downward, because if someone attempts to keep you from raising it, you can drop to your knees to level the gun and fire.

      I’d also be worried about accidental discharges when pointing the muzzle upwards. That would go straight through the ceiling in my home and hit people upstairs.
