I’ve worked at my current job for 9 years and I’ve become dangerously complacent.
She’s been a rep for 18 terms, since 1991, so 35 years. Expertise is one thing, but when you’re in a safe seat for that long, often running unopposed, there’s very little incentive to work against the status quo.
