In all seriousness, is there any way if knowing if we have bots on lemmy or not? Is it just vibes based? Im of course referring to undercover bots pushing agendas, not automation/meme bots finding haikus and shit.
Just ask about the news from yesterday. Still might be a bot, but a more expensive one, and slower, or could be hybrid shill. But still one way. If they reply within a few seconds then they’ve already read it, which means they’re human. For now anyway. Also a negative response could just mean this particular human hasn’t read that news.
