If every accusation is admittance, then tRump Derangement Syndrome is really what all his supporters have.

I also do not blindly hate Trump, but I will admit that my hate for him is extremely biased by the fact that I blame him for the death of a family member due to his ridiculous handling of COVID.

It’s very possible that my family member would have died regardless of who the president was, but the fact that Trump ignored the pandemic playbook that had been created ahead of time, and ignored expert advice in favor of public opinion makes me blame him.

It would be one thing if he actually tried to do all of the right things, and it just worked out badly, but the fact that he didn’t do his job properly is something I simply cannot get past.

So, I hate him. I know it’s not completely based in rationality, but it’s significantly based in rationality.

A lot of people lost loved ones to COVID, my family included. A young woman I know lost her husband to COVID while pregnant. She is now raising her baby without him.

Knowing that Trump made this way worse is absolutely infuriating. What is even worse is everyone giving him a free pass on it and then electing him again. What a slap in the face to everyone who lost someone…the conservatives are truly fucked up pieces of shit.

I’m sure lots of them lost loved ones to COVID, too. The koolaid is especially potent.
