It still wouldn’t matter. That old bastard is gonna die without suffering any consequences. It’s enough to make me wish I was religious so I could believe he was going to hell.

What the fuck? Are you serious?

Can we stop being fucking idiots one day, everyone? Can we admit 100 times is unspeakable?

You might want to take a step back and re-read what you replied to. The person isn’t saying that THEY won’t believe Trump is a pedophile who should be in jail. The person is saying that the past 5 years have shown that nobody with any power to do anything is willing to go after Trump even when there is direct evidence of him admitting to the crime on tape.

If there’s no actionable evidence then he has plausible deniability. I agree having any contact with JE should be completely taboo but that doesn’t hold in a court of law.

How many “coincidences” would be enough to convince you or any reasonable adult? Imagine a guy leaving the scene of 100 different murders - no actionable evidence. Coincidence?

I think the point is that that you don’t have to convince a reasonable adult, you have to feasibly be able to prove it in court while staying within the confines of the law. How we feel about information doesn’t always correlate with how things fit into the rules and sometimes that can be very unfortunate.

It’s not about convincing a reasonable adult. This wouldn’t be a normal court trial. Have you not paid attention the last 5 years?

This is not only about getting a prosecutor willing to take on a judge appointed by Trump, then convincing entirely unreasonable adults who are Trump supporters, then getting it through the appeals process with judges appointed by Trump, then getting it through the Supreme Court that was mostly appointed by Trump.

I’m not the one that needs to be convinced. I’m already convinced. But I’ve seen the evidence that is published today and there are many out there who have not or refuse to believe it. What we’re talking about is prosecution, the people you need to convince are our lawmakers and judges.
