    I had that happen to me once.
    This was a ride with a big rotating wheel that had smaller wheels attached on its arms, with “pods” for the riders at the end of the smaller wheels’ arms.
    All of that tilted and rotated in all axis.
    I got in, pulled the security harness down and noticed it didn’t lock in fully.
    It had a good 10cm of play.
    I called for the ride attendant but he ignored me and started the ride.
    I was scared out of my wits during the entire ride cause I didn’t know if the improperly locked harness would hold or pop open.
    Besides, it didn’t hold my body in properly so I kept getting pushed around, while white-knuckling the bar.
    Last time I ever got in an amusement ride.
