The bowden tube between the extruder and hotend somehow got unscrewed, and the extruder just kept unspooling filament around the room, as the printer kept happily going on.

    may favorite print was a bust of plato that started doing the spaghetti thing, just above the eyebrows. it sat on the shelf of shame for a long time, until somebody asked if I could print them another. (they thought it was cool, and didn’t realize it’s for… “oopsies” that are more humorous.)

      Thanks, I just loosened the extruder idler (?) to roll it back up and restarted the print. Didn’t think of cleaning the filament first, but anything touching the floor has gone through the hotend now.
