Essentially yes, the goal is division and particularly division with zero possibility of resolution so that the division is eternal. The worst outcome is people who have the most in common put down their differences and work together. Instead one needs to get people fighting one another over increasingly minute details. It’s best when it’s worked into an almost religious state of infallibility on both sides. We are the good guys and they are Satan incarnate and the only way forward or cure is their complete and utter removal.
